1.2 Product and Service Description
DoorBird products are IP-based intercoms and accessories which can send a notification to your smartphone when the doorbell button is pressed. You can see your visitors, talk to them and open the door via smartphone or tablet. DoorBird allows for centralized configuration and control of all locking systems on this door. The integrated digital key solution in the IP video door stations offers a wide range of applications for access. They work with many integration partners. When using the product, the app, WebAdmin and optionally subscribed cloud services (“Cloud Pro subscription”), product data and – depending on usage – personal data are generated and processed. The DoorBird App installed on the user’s smartphone or tablet connects via cloud servers operated by Bird Home Automation GmbH in commercial data centres with their intercom products. Details on data categories, access/export options and disclosure to third parties can be found in this information notice.
Recordings stored via the app (images/videos) can be downloaded to the user’s mobile device. Recordings are stored in the DoorBird cloud.
